Congregation Beth El is offering one-on-one meetings with our rabbi for all those interested in conversion to Judaism. At some point in the future, it is possible that we will hold an actual class, provided there are enough people interested.

Converting to Judaism is a joyous event and after a great deal of study and in-depth soul searching, many people welcome the opportunity to become a Jew-by-Choice. Reform Judaism offers a religious ideology that honors both tradition and individuality. There are two great websites that can help you learn more about converting to Judaism. One is the Reform Movement's Outreach and Synagogue Community page. On this page, there are many articles, first person accounts, a recommended reading materials. Another good website is called the Conversion to Judaism Homepage. There is a lot of good material on this website from leading rabbis. You are encouraged to read through some of those articles.
