Congregation Beth El is proud of our Religious School program. In conjunction with the Conservative synagogue, Ahavath Achim, our school meets on a regular basis on Sunday mornings. The students are taught by some of Tyler’s finest and most passionate Jewish teachers and the two rabbis. Our curriculum covers Hebrew, Bible, Jewish holidays, Israel, Jewish history, music, and current events to name some of the basics. Our school runs through 10th grade when we have confirmation. After confirmation, many of our students remain active in the school teaching the younger students. A Hebrew School program is also available on Wednesday afternoons to help students with preparation for the Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Religious School and Hebrew School is only available to members of Congregation Beth El or Ahavath Achim. There is a nominal yearly registration fee for the school itself.
