The Tyler Federated Jewish Welfare Board is a part of the United Jewish Communities (UJC) Network. The UJC "provides life-saving and life-enhancing humanitarian assistance to those in need, and translates Jewish values into social action on behalf of millions of Jews in hundreds of communities in North America, in towns and villages throughout Israel, in the former Soviet Union, and 60 countries around the world."

In Tyler, our Federation raises monies for these efforts that support Jewish education, humanitarian concerns, and Israeli causes. In the past, we have coordinated a community-wide Israel Independence Day program, a pro-Israel rally, and brought in various speakers to teach the community about UJC projects. If you are interested in learning more about the Tyler Federated Jewish Welfare Board or making a donation, please contact our local chair Geri Cohen.
